Sharing some common, southern Ontario heritage, the writer and the blues teller are old friends coming together to present “Blues & Books” in the round. Wallaceburg BIA Farmers’ Market ~ Saturday August 17, 8:00-12:00

We hope to see you at the Wallaceburg BIA Farmers’ Market, Saturday August 17th from 8:00-12:00, in Municipal Parking Lot D on James. St. While there, come visit the W.D.C.A. tent and enjoy the sounds of flute solos and duets presented by Rebecca & Sonya from Dolce Argento between 9:00-10:00 and 11:00-12:00. The Wallaceburg & District Council for the Arts is so very excited to be supporting “Brahms in Autumn.” This clarinet recital is presented by Gavin Warren, with Yvon Arseneault on cello, and Megaria Halim accompanying on piano. ACOUSTIC THURSDAYS AT THE GOOSE ARE BACK!

The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts will once again be celebrating the arts at the Black Goose through a Spring Concert Series. This six week series begins Thursday April 20, 2023 from 6:30-9:30 pm. With each week featuring different phenomenal local musicians, you may just want to come enjoy some tasty food at the Goose while taking in the music on more than just one night!


THE MICHAEL SCHATTE BAND AND TOM LOCKWOOD RETURN TO THE JEANNE GORDON HALL – SATURDAY OCTOBER 15, 2022!

After more than four years, both the Michael Schatte Band, and special guest Tom Lockwood, are very excited to be returning to the Jeanne Gordon Hall in Wallaceburg, on Saturday October 15th, 2022. As the venue is smaller and more intimate, tickets are limited. LIVE MUSIC! – THE CELTIC HILLBILLIES

With restrictions beginning to lift, we are ready to begin providing Wallaceburg and the surrounding area, with some quality entertainment and events. Please help us kick things off by joining us Sunday February 27, 2022 for an afternoon of live music. See the poster below for ticket information.


In the past, the Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts has held several workshops for local singer songwriters, guitarists and more, these events have all been well attended.

The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts has initiated and sustained an outdoor concert series for the last two summers, providing quality entertainment showcasing local artists and musicians, while offering the ten-week event completely free of charge to the community. The Outdoor Concert Series was held nightly on Tuesday nights in the Library Park – a beautiful setting along the bank of the Sydenham River.

Unfortunately with the immediate concerns of the pandemic, previously scheduled events for this summer have been cancelled. Please watch closely for regularly updated information.
