We need your help!
The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts,
is a registered charity that relies on well attended events and donations
from the community provide quality entertainment and help promote local musicians and local artists.
If you have a few excess funds that you would like to donate to us, it will help us
to bring quality entertainment to Wallaceburg, we would appreciate your donation. Alternatively,
if you represent an organization who gives grants to organizations for the development of Art and Music, we
would love to talk to you.

If you have a musical instrument that you would like to donate to us,
it will help us to develop our Community Music Program, known as the Wallaceburg Concert Band.
Donations can be made in "your name" or "in memory of a loved one".
Donations will receive a charitable donation receipt for:
- a monetary donation,
- a donation of a musical instrument or
- a donation of artwork.

The Wallaceburg Concert Band would like to extend a tremendous thank you to Entegrus Inc., for your recent $500 donation. Your support is greatly appreciated, as we continue to purchase instruments and equipment to equip our developing community band.
Rotary Club of Wallaceburg
Many thanks to the Wallaceburg Rotary Club for their generous donation of $400 to the Wallaceburg Concert Band. This will help us obtain new instruments as we prepare for our April 28th 2018 Spring Concert.
Many thanks to Boston Pizza for helping The Wallaceburg Concert Band with our recent Fund Raiser. You were over the top in all you provided as we walked away with money that will go towards new instruments for our members.
The Wallaceburg Concert Band gratefully recently received a $5,000 donation for the purchase of musical instruments and other necessary equipment from the Wallaceburg Kinsmen Club. Kinsmen President Dr. Kyle Charlton said “this donation from the Wallaceburg Kinsmen speaks to the Kinsmen’s strong support for organizations which are striving to make Wallaceburg and the surrounding area a better place."
The Club House at Baldoon
February 19, 2018 the famous Baldoon Family Day all you can eat buffet generously donated a portion from the proceeds of the day to the Wallaceburg Concert Band.
Otter Creek Wind Farm Project
The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts recently received a donation from the Otter Creek Wind Farm. The Wind Farm wanted to purchase "wind" instruments for the Concert Band. They donated $5,100 towards this project.

The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts recently received a donation from the Legion. During our Summer Concert Series at the Library Park, during the concert each week the Legion collected donations from their patrons for the Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts. Well done!
Chatham-Kent Community Partnership Fund
The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts recently received a $5,000 grant from the Municipality of
Chatham-Kent to provide "Music By The River - An Outdoor Summer Concert Series".
“We can’t thank the local institutions and initiatives that supply these grant dollars enough,” said Dave Elliott, President of the Arts Council. “Without these grant programs, a lot of what the arts council does, simply doesn’t happen."
Projects like this one provided by the Chatham-Kent Community Partnership Fund, improve the quality of life to Chatham-Kent citizens by providing quality entertainment, strengthening community bonds and contributing to the economic growth of the area. Local events like these have direct and indirect impacts on communities. They provide opportunities for participation, skills development, volunteering, and social, cultural economic and environmental development.
The Wallaceburg & District Council For The Arts are helping to update the Jeanne Gordon Theatre, to the tune of $10,500. The Arts Council recently received both a $5,500 grant from the South Kent Wind Community Fund Advisory Committee and a $5,000 grant from the Chatham-Kent Community Foundation Grant Committee. This money was used to upgrade the sound, video and lighting in the Jeanne Gordon Theatre, the home of the Wallaceburg & District Council for the Arts.
Quarter Auction Success!
The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts recently raised $528.15 at a local quarter auction. This money will be used to purchase new instruments for The Wallaceburg Concert Band.
Community Support - The People of Wallaceburg & Area are Awesome!
In 2015, The Wallaceburg and District Council for the Arts, needed YOUR help to win some money in an online contest. Thanks to our audience we won! It was a $2,500 prize! Once again thank you to everyone who voted. This money would be used to help fund 3 more concerts proposed for the 2015/2016 music season.
